Yes
the other half bought me a sb 400 but when im doing portrait im limited to only bouncing it off celing, cant use when doing sideways captures

so wondering of to get the yn 560 ii
And have the bonus of removing it from the camera
which is half the price of the sb400
just wondering if its a good flash or is there a better one fpr atound the £100 mark

You want full time ittl

I got the jessops flash cheap, but it only does ittl when the flash is pointing directly forward. The rest of the time it is in manual.

Picked up the sb600 this week and see how this goes.

The sb400 is a great flash and being so small it is always with me. It is limited in portrait, but if you are so into taking portraits, you will want a better flash setup, don't go cheap.

at the minute its basical playing/learning with lighting, but limited what i can do with the sb 400

so jessops one will be better then the yn 560

Nope avoid the jessops.

I have the sb409 for out and about and I've just purchased an sb600 for macro and times I know I will def need a flash.
