Just purchased an SB600 flash and want to be able to attach it to a Manfrotto compact light tripod for off camera flash. (cheapo) What do I need to buy to do this. Thanks in anticipation.

If you want it for ocf, I would go with one of these. You can then add a folding soft box. Don't buy one of those plastic dome type diffusers.

I need it for races which are later in the day. One local run (9 times from April to September) is often a bit on the dark side. Just wanted to experiment with flash to see what effect I can get.
