I've been using it on both D3 and D7000, so yeah, it does.

Could you please tell if the flash is correcting the zoom in regard to sensor size, i.e. DX vs FX? What I mean is: does it zoom to the same position for 50 mm on the D3 as for 75 mm on the D7000 ?

But 50 mm is 50 mm be it on a d3 or d7000 . It is only the field of view that changes.

But isn't it the field of view that the flash adjusts for? And the field of view on an DX at 50mm is the same with the field of view on FX at 75 mm. So if the flash zooms at 50 mm with a DX camera, it will somehow waste some power, as the camera field of view is 75 mm, so narrower.

Not that it would be a big difference in light, but it could be useful at longer focal lenghts.

I read a review on the Di622 MkII that mentions exposure issues because of the fact that it does not adjust between FX / DX. IIRC it is set for FX, so issues arise with DX. Not sure about the Di866, but possibly the same.
