Yes
Went all minimalist here. I'd be interested to hear what people think.

i love the photo, nice composition, and wondered if the scallop is really that colour.

I've tweaked the saturation up slightly but yes it's bright red/orange. They tend to turn a brownish red when they're mature but this was a little one. I haven't seen one that bright before.

My daughter liked it so much she brought it home (after I'd finished with it) ;)

Interesting shot , a nice mixture of textures/colours :)

From a completely personal viewpoint, I think it works better if you mirror the shot , ie have the shell on the right.

Lot of noise in that shot.....ah it's sand ;) Good shot.

Great idea - where a little means alot, nice compostion.

Works very well:thumb:

Just a bit too straight and linear for me I'm afraid. Did you try it from any other angles?

Yeah, tried one with the shell on the diagonal and it didn't work as well.

That's a shame, maybe the new macro lens would have been interesting! :)

That's exactly what I thought.

Somehow I think several of my photos will be getting retaken as I get better :)

Yes, I have a long list that keeps getting longer that I'll never get around to doing! lol ;)
