Do you shoot lots of burst RAW?
Do you have a high speed firewire connection to download at the cards speed?

If no then don't waste your money....

I use Sandisk extreme III's (30mbs) for my wildlife photography and I find I need the speed of the faster cards when I let rip at 3.7 frames a second JPEG.

As Chris notes above, if you do a lot of burst shooting, in either raw or JPEG, then go for the faster cards. If not then the slower ones should suffice.

You have to watch the Ultra and Extreme as there are a couple of different speeds knocking around.
The old one were Ultra (15mbs) and Extreme (30mbs) BUT the newer ones are double that speed (Ultra is 30mbs and Extreme is 60mbs)

I now use the new Ultra's (30mbs) always shoot RAW in high burst mode, they are fine - the only time you will get a problem is if you fill the buffer up.
