Critique Scrapyard • a mentoring session in B&W

They were some 23 guys and girls (all ages) present from
the local "Fotoclub" to an unusual working session where
the task was: "find beauty everywhere and in everything!"

After some preliminary explanations about the shooting
conditions, artistic intent and the aimed final rendition, out
we were to the regional scrapyard. I have arranged, with
the owner, that we will all be out of there within the hour.

Between some Q&As from perplex members and remin-
ding them that they should all stay in the path for obvious
safety reasons, I took these. At the next session, all the
pictures in digital form will be viewed (without any marking)
and the ten better takes (including mine) will be selected
in a secret poll so no one will know who shot what.

I didn't see that until a comment in that direction
by a member of the Photoclub as she stopped to
see what I was doing. I though about it when the
RAWs came on the screen and she (you too!) was
right
