Scratched black paint on 5d3

Hi all, my black rapid strap scratched a bit of the painting off of the bottom of my 5d3 where u screw it on and was wondering if there his a way to paint it or somehow repair it again?

It got scratched when it's connected to my camera and inside my bag.
 
Depending on the extent of the damage I would suggest a visit to a car accessories shop to buy some black car touchup paint, these normally come in small containers with self-contained brush (bit like nail varnish!).
 
Ahh, now you'll start getting the good pics because you won't be quite as worried about the camera. I consider the first scratch on a camera as a rite of passage for that camera. You can't do it on purpose, but once it happens by accident you stop worrying about its looks and use it for what it was designed for :) ;)

Halford sell it? The scratch is not too bad but visible still

Ironically after I notice the scratch I started taking pics outside in the heavy rain without a worry and my camera wasn't covered or anything.

Nice weather sealing. I was in universal studios in Orlando

Is is something you could touch up with a black permanent marker?
 
It's on the base of the camera, where the tripod/strap mount is?

Don't even worry on it.

It's like when you scratch an alloy wheel on a pavement... You've done it once so you stop worrying about it after that!
 
Search for Birchwood Casey flat black touch up pen on eBay or amazon, it's easy to use and a very good match for the matte black finish on Canon cameras. It will be a better match and easier to use than a gloss car touch up pen from Halfords and probably cheaper as well.
