I might be being a bit dim myself here, but does anyone know why this happens.

It seems to be since I got the new monitor (or since I re-installed my computer).

Here's a link to a site that does it. Is it happening for anyone else and how do I stop it?

Oh, and it did it when I was putting my credit card details into 7dayshop.

Are you using internet explorer?

I suspect there is a component of the site that needs a plugin or activex code that you don't have. Look at the top of the page for an orange(?) bar telling you about activex or an icon on the taskbar which is the vista nanny telling you it's blocked something and needs you to say yes/no/install.
