Screen Protector for 550D

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend me a decent screen protector for my camera please?

There seem to be varying levels of quality and I'm unsure which one to go for.

Some people seem to use a film protector, others a hard plastic protector.

Any suggestions please?

Oh dear another do I or don't I type thread....

I use the GGS screen protector on my D700 & SB600 - infact I've used one on all my camera's.... Cant stand the plastic cover that came with them but its a personal preference.....

Now to wait & read the "no dont get one" type posts

I have a cheapo eBay one on my 550D and it's been perfect, think it was about a quid for 3. It's of the sticky back plastic variety.

What your trying to do is protect the screen protector Canon fitted to your camera.

Yes that bit of plastic you can feel and see on the back of your camera is a screnn protector, now I understand you don't want to mark it, but as a new part from Canon is only £10, you have to decide if it's worth spending money to protect the protector

had a ggs once scratched my camera when it cracked.
this is way better acmaxx one have had them on my pentax gear and now my nikon gear.
