Screen protector for eos 500d

Get the GGS one, I got one for my 500D, unobtrusive, does its job well and cheap to boot, I think mine was around £11 on ebay.. solid piece of kit, not the flimsy plastic rubbish

Yup, the plastic film type are great for mobile phones etc, but for a camera (where you want the best clarity) the glass (GGS type) are the way to go. IMO of course.

^^^ That looks right Tony.
I seem to remember finding some Youtube videos showing how to fit the thing to a DSLR too. Very self explanatory but nice to see it done before you commit yourself. Eight quid is the ball park figure for them, or about the same as four sets of tacky plastic film ones that peel off after a couple of weeks.

get the ones for iphonesor blackberrys depending on screen size
I got 3 blackberry storm ones for around £5 and use on a 5dmkII also my blackberry
so why pay £11 you just trim it to fit

never bothered with one , never needed one , not sure why people bother with them to be honest

Seen a lady who didn't bother using one on her camera. She scratched it to hell as it was rubbing on her belt and she didn't know about it!! Always worth having 'protection!' :D

Not many would want to buy from the USA!

I was under the impression that Linkdelight was in China or their English grammar is rather poor (worse than the most of us over on this side of the pond) for being in the states..

Better, UK!! :D

Had loads of stuff of Link delight through fleabay. Nowt wrong with them for small stuff.

As for buying cheap bit's and bobs I would change a quid or two.

I use JRC thin stick on ones on my 5D2.

The problem we frequently encounter with buying from the US is we often get ripped off with delivery charges.

For example, if you look on ebay for Kata bags you see some great prices from somebody in the US. Then you look at his UK delivery charges. For an $80 bag he's asking for $50 delivery. Currently he has $70 bags that he's quoting $317 delivery.

Small items from the far east are often free delivery, or at least a reasonable amount.

Just ordered one from the Amazon link i put in post no:17 for my 450D.

Ive had bits from China, USA, Australia and Poland and have NEVER had any trouble.
