I put on a screen protector a few years ago when I bought my camera. It's finally seen better days. When I remove the protector there is going to be sticky residue on it by the looks of things.

What's the best way to remove the sticky residue?

Even the protectors that cost a bit more don't like the summer :)

I have always used IPA to clean the final residue. Try and clean as much of using a small plastic scraper, I use tile wedges then clean up with the IPA. Always works for me.

You may get IPA from your local chemist, ortherwise try a electrical/chemical wholesalers. You can make your own wedge, or you may have something similar lying around. I had some left over from my tiling/carpentry days.
