eveining, i have a panasonic g1, still fathoming out the ins and outs. one hurdle i have encountered is whilst i can view images on the lcd, whereas i insert card into my photo printer, it says no photos on card ?
am i doing something stupidly obviously wrong ?

are you shooting in raw? if so I have had a similar problem and found that my printer would only print from jpegs.
 
can you set the camera to save to the internal memory or the card ?
if so, it's probably currently defaulted to internal memory :]
 
The images are probably not at the root of the drive. By that I mean, they are saved in a folder, in the drive.

Alternatively you could plug the camera into the computer, and then print the pic's from the computer......this would also give you a chance to process them in a software package (like GIMP, it's free)
 
what size is the sd card?

I used to have an older card reader, however the SDHC (high capacity cards... I think 2Gb or more).. wouldnt work with it...

£10 and new card reader later, works fine.....

could be a similar issue - how old is the printer?
 
thanks for replies guys, printer is a hp i got about 5 years ago i have a 2gb card in camera and most of images are printable, but agree may be something to do with settings, going to see if i can pick up a book from borders or something, give me some intel on knowing a bit more on using the camera, thanks again...........m:)
