SD Cards

So I've just purchased a 550D, but it would seem that the Class 4 SD cards I already own are not fast enough, allowing only a few seconds of video before the buffer fills up and it automatically stops.

What sort of quality card should I be aiming for? Any unsung gems that can be had cheaply?
