tried visualizing the slot looks okay however i am not sure if i would recognize a problem, i will say my husband nearly flipped at the sight of me with a flashlight and paperclip. i did however notice the card does not eject as it use to , i have to press down a play with it until it ejects, so you may be right, i remain open for suggestionsBent Pin? Foreign Body? Have you had a good look in the card chamber?
I NEED SOME HELP WITH MY NIKON D40, IT IS ONLY A YEAR AND 2 MONTHS OLD, HOWEVER I DID NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY, "GO FIGURE" THE PROBLE IS THAT I GET A MESSAGE ON MY LCD sreen that reads SD error this memory card may be damaged, insert a new card: the problem is i have no card in the sd card slot, can anyone please help. it takes pictures when i insert a memory card but just as soon as card is ejected the error message reappears. would appreciate anyone advice
