SD/mmc to CF type 2 adapter

Just bought a camera and this came with it so I assume I can just stick my spare 3gb SD card in this then use it in my 350d?
 
Not sure about your specific camera - I'm from the dark side - but I carry an SD>CF adaptor and some SD cards in my bag for emergencies. The only downside I see is that they are slow to write to the card but as I don't normally "machine gun" shots it's not a problem.
