SD to CF adaptor

Has anybody had any experience with this type of adaptor?

I've got a shed load of SD cards which I used with my D40 and seems a bit of a bummer having to buy another load of CF memory for my D300.

Would rather spend £19 on this adaptor if I can get away with it, than spend £100's on new CF cards obviously.
 
Ha ha, yes, top idea if they work. Not sure of the quality of the device and also would it slow down the accessing of the high speed cards??
I think Im going to purchase one tomorrow anyway and give it a try. Will let you know if it works. :thinking:

IIRC there's a 2gb card limit on this version, check ebay for SDHC compatible if you have anything larger.
 
Ah right, nice one Slipper-one. Loads on eBay. Uk sellers. Will do 4gig to 32gig cards for £12. Bargain I reckon. No more spending loads on expensive CF cards me thinks.

Let us know how this works out....I've loads of Extreme III SD's left over from my old D80 days.......
