Sd to cf adaptor

As I've gone totally FF from Aps-c Canon 5D and 5D mk2 I have quite a few sd cards that I can no longer use. I've seen an SD to CF adaptor on 7dayshop shop for £8:60. Has anyone used on e of these ? Are they any good ?

I haven't used one but if I have to I would carefully check the write/read speed speed of the adapter specially if you shoot high speed. I would read reviews and buy the best I can.

i bought it to use with the eye fi sd card and the 5d mk2 it works quite well but iv'e not really done a transfer speed tests with it as i'm using it for wireless transfer

Agree : but remember there is no failsafe correlation between price and quality. Many (expensive) branded devices are simply rebadged "glue & go" designs and over time what was previous reviewed as a good (or bad) device might not be the same one that's for sale now (as they buy in the bare devices from different sources for rebadging).

There's nothing quite like discovering a corrupt or misbehaving memory card. You can guarantee that if something goes wrong the card will have contained that award winning shot. If you were going on holiday somewhere special, would you trust a combination or would you always have a nagging doubt at the back of your mind? Sell the old cards on Ebay and buy some nice new Lexar or Sandisk CF's.
