SDHC Classes?

[DJMorgan]

Iv noticed that they`re different types, the 2 I have noticed are class 6 and class 10, I use a class 10 on my D7000, but I cant understand what the difference of the classes are!

Can anyone help me?

The various classes of SDHC card relate to the write speed which data can be written to the card.

Some cameras can take advantage of faster class of card, some can't.

A Landscape Photographer may not need a fast card whereas a Sports Photographer may get an advantage with a suitable camera.
