Had a brief visit to Brid today and threw the x10 in the wife's hand bag. Other than a few family shots this opportunity arose while we sheltered from the rain.
Normally not a fan of selective colour - but I do like this one. Though the little person's jeans are still in colour as well, so just maybe the jacket selected ?
Cheers Carl, I know it's been done to death and can be a little marmite. It was just timing as I had just framed the shot and the boy ran in and if it wasn't for the bright red jacket it would probably be just b&w. Will look at just the jacket.
Pretty much agree with Karl on this, although I find selective colouring can be more effective if you boost the saturation to really make it pop. Red would be an ideal colour for that, although I might be tempted to make it the jacket only and exclude the jeans from this treatment.
