I get married on the 22nd July. There's a loose theme of seaside (ceremony on the beach, the favours have sand and shells...) It's in North Berwick, so puffins and gannets are quite a big thing there. Given this, we decided that we would name the tables after seabirds. I need roughly 6-8 table names. I then thought, it would be a nice idea that I could try taking the photos and display them on each corresponding table. So, I am hoping for tips on getting photographs of the various seabirds.

Puffin - I have a couple to choose from
Kittiwake - I have a couple to choose from
Razorbill - Done
Guillemot - Going to head to RSPB Fowlsheugh for this one.

Gannet - Given that the bass rock is home to the world's largest northern gannet colony, and it's in view of the venue and ceremony, then I need a gannet photo. I have no idea how to go about this. Do you think I need to get one of the boat trips, or is there an easier way? I quite fancy doing the boat trip anyway, so if that's the best way then fine.

Any more suggestions for birds and where I can snap them?

Equipment is basic: Sony a5000 with 55-210mm lens.

The photos don't have to be amazing. I do want them to be mine. Having said that, I'd rather show off the best I can do. Anyone fancy choosing the best ones out of these?

It's to go on the tables during the meal?
- in which case any photo without the guano.
