Okay I have a Canon 5D MKII

Want a second body

So do I buy a 5D MKIII

Or

1D MK III

Or

1DS MK II

I will mainly be shooting animal Portraits and Dog Agility and Shows


Or what would you all suggest

Well, the 5D3 gets you covered for portraits, do you need a crop for greater reach (how about a 7D?)
Surely the AF is going to be better on a 7D / 1D3 than the 1DS mk II.

Hi,

I've been looking at the 1Ds MKIII or the 1DmkIIII

I mainly want it for action shooting, and then use my 5D for portraits

But not sure

If your doing agility a lot then I'd lean towards a good s/h 1d3.

I love mine for it's super fast AF and the fact a little rain wont kill it.

Damn site cheaper than a 5d3 and the quality of output is superb. Sadly mine doesnt get enough use but I wouldnt sell it.
