Ok guys...im biting the bulet, i want to get my paws on a 5D Mk1, loads on ebay, is there any thing i should look out for? What kind of shutter actuations is good and bad? Any other things to ask?

There's no way to find out the number of clicks, bar sending it back to Canon. Look for signs of heavy use (brassing etc.) and be aware that models with a serial number starting 2 have a better screen and I believe have the mirror fix in place.
