Second lens...

Hi, long time since I've posted!

I've had my 400d for a couple of months now and I feel I have got the most out of the stock 18-55 lens. I'm looking for another lens and would like some recommendations. I'll be using the lens for a bit of everything really!

WEll cheap a sigma 70 -300 or for some more money a canon 70-200

to be honest I'd like a bit of both, width is more important though.

£200 ish, I'll probably be buying second hand...

I agree that this would be a great lens if you want to go wider, though you'll need to shop about and get lucky to get a used one for £200ish... as for more reach the 55-250 IS seems to be an excellent option, but that would take up all of your budget.
