Secondhand D5000 or D3100

I am looking at getting a NIKON and have been offered a d5000 for £260 or a D3100 for £310 Could almost get the nifty fifty with the difference...

Which should i go for?

Its up to you, try them and which ever one you feel comfortable with, youll get good photos with whatever you buy, i have a 10 year old camera and even though people make silly comment i ignore them becuase in my eyes i get good shots.
