Hi Guys,

a little help needed, i just bought this light meter but by default its set to 1/3 f stop values, anyone know how to change this to 1/10 f stop

ive looked at the manual but it isnt very clear

Hi Emma, and welcome to TP.

Custom setting 1 in Advanced Functions, starts page 40 with instructions to change the setting on page 41.

ive change the custom settings so its now 01 1 but it seems to make no difference at all, do i need to use the software that comes with the unit?

Try pressing the memory clear button while in custom setting mode, this should restore all settings to default (bottom of page 41).
I think that 01 1 is for filter compensation, and all default settings are at zero.

Emma - I think it's custom setting 3 (not setting 1), then choose between:

• 0 - for full increment
• 1 - for 1/3 increment
• 2 - for 1/2 increment

Sounds like yours is on 1, try changing it to 0.

e.g. on setting 0, an aperture reading of 4.03 is f4 plus 3/10 of a stop.
