Selecting the colour

When I took this shot in was a dull, wet and over cast day, when I was doing a little touch up in lightroom I was unsure to keep it colour or go black and white, so I kept the leaves in colour, and the rest in black and white, I think it gives it more affect

A lot of people here aren't fans of selective colour, me included.

But, I think it works well here.

These type of shots can be a bit Marmite, but in this case it works very well for me.

It's probably because it's not an "obvious" selective colour, (unlike the ones I do!) it's kind of got a subtlety to it and I agree it works really nicely. Nicely chosen scene to use it in.
