Hi All,

Here is a self portrait, no one else would let me photograph them for this exercise. I have done some work to it in photoshop (maybe too much) What do you think? C+C's are very welcome and also advice on how to crop this image for best effect.

Looks like the light was from above and camera right? The harsh shadow across your face (from your eye socket and under your nose) don't do anything for the image.


You have a very bright nose tip and cheek yet the other side is looking like it was in shadow but you recovered that?

Change the position of the light. Maybe lower and at 45 degrees. A reflector on the other side will open up the shadows.
