I'm really mad at myself about this one. This shot could have been a LOT sharper and I'm thinking of going back and have another go at it. While you can tell I'm shooting into a mirror, it almost has the effect that I'm 3D, maybe on a train station platform or something. Think it will work if it's redone and a lot sharper?

I'm not sure sharpness is the issue here, I think it's the amount of contrast present there, I've only noticed you because of the blue jeans, but there's lots of high contrast areas there distracting from the main object (you).
Perhaps really shallow DOF would help a bit.
 
Yeah. I see what you mean. My upper torso does blend in with the wall a lot. I tend to have a hair trigger with the contrast slider as well, lol. I'll do a re-edit and see what I can come up with. I was shooting at 1.8, so that's the best DOF I could get. :p
