self take help please

hi all iv got a sony A350.
i do alot of fishing and my mate has pulled out of coming with me next week so if i do well i`d like some photos.
i`v got a tripod but i can only seem to do a 2 or 10sec timer.
is there away of having a 10sec timer and the camera take a few by itself without a remote?
i`v looked online at a remote but i`m going friday so getting it in time might be a pain.

Nope.

You'll have to use the 10 second timer. Hit the button, run jump over the rod, net, bait, take your seat behind rod and look composed within 10 seconds.
