Selling my D40. Now this is my shortlist..

I like the D40 but a colleague offered me a great price;) so had to sell.
Now what would you replace it with? I still have a Nikkor 18-135 lens. So a D60 is the obvious choice but I could sell all my Nikon kit and look at other options. On cost grounds if I did not go with D60 how does it compare to Sony A200?

Sorry for the "desperate answers" needed but I can buy tonight.

I'd wait a few weeks and see what happens to the price of the D80, now that the D90 has been announced.

D60 is a very capable camera, but you might be able to get a D80 for not much more.

Both Sony and Olympus have image stabilisation in the body, not the lenses , so if IS may be important to you they could be worth looking at. If you sold your Nikon lens then maybe this is within range ? http://www.parkcameras.com/ProductDetails/mcs/productID/6842

Check out www.camerapricebuster.co.uk for the latest pricing, althoguh they don't look evrywhere so occassioally you can beat even their prices.
