Can anyone recomend a wet sensor cleaning kit, I have used a Digipad kit but found while it removed the dust I was chasing lint about, this on a 400D. I suspect that the sensor mount was catching the lint pad. The alcohol bottle got more on me than the pad.
I have removed the majority of the dust and pushed what little is left to one edge where it will not be such a pain at the moment.

Have you tried just using a rocket blower? If you're really serious about removing all dust yourself you may want to have a look into purchasing something like an arctic butterfly sensor cleaner. Very good and easy to use.

I have this problem with my 5d2, it builds up in the corners, so I go from out side to middle then try and lift it

I got a kit from www.cameraclean.co.uk for my 5Dc...but haven't got around to using it yet! They supply eclipse fluid and swabs which is what is recommended. Just make sure you choose the right sized swab for your sensor.

Btw, as already recommended earlier - always use a rocket blower first. It might be all that you need. Wet clean if the blower doesn't do the job.

Is there any were that gives you a swab the full width of sensor, Iv bought a few different ones and they have used the same width of swab and just made the cloth on it wider, means you don't get the same pressure across the sensor.

Cleaned my last night, still easy and worth doing

The site I quoted earlier do full width swabs (not just the cloth)...hence why you need to order the correct sized swab. :)

No, but it looks like cloth on a swab, could be the same.

What's the sticky pads like? Always wanted to try them

Yes, but the cloth is the same size as the swab itself - not just a bigger cloth.

Mine are larger, maybe different sellers different product

Yh maybe. The ones I ordered seem to be the perfect size for a FF sensor...I just gotta get around to use it! :D

Thanks everyone, I tried a rocket blower first off, but the little b*gger stuck there. There are bits in the view finder which cause no problem but are a distraction so I might send the body of for a wash and brush up. Just checking the arctic butterfly out to see what it is.

I got a arctic butterfly with a photo mag surcription, didn't really like it lucky I didn't buy it
