Apologies if this has been asked before but anyone recommend a reasonably priced and good quality sensor cleaning service?

My D700 is quite dirty and I don't want to take it to Jessops, even though they only charge £30.

Fixation have quoted me £55 +vat which is ok but add on my postage and £10 =vat for them to send the body back to me and it gets rather expensive.

Sounds expensive- £40 seems more like the going rate. Obviously DIY is far cheaper. Where are you based?
 
Unless it is so bad that it really could do with a good clean out, as Dan say just clean it yourself, it is so simple!
 
I use a Lenspen SensorKlear and works a treat - it's a dry clean so no concerns over too much liquid etc if you are a complete novice like I was. I'd certainly and have recommended one on lots of occasions...
 
Thanks guys. I'm in Kidderminster Coyon.
I bought the camera of eBay and the shutter box is quite dirty. Sensor has around 10 spots that need removing from every photo in pp. Think the body was left without the cap on before I got it.
Really no keen on doing it myself.
 
You'll probably find a decent blower will remove most of it if you're squeamish about touching the sensor.
