Wouldnt go as far as a new body. What did you use to clean you sensor? Doesnt seem to have done a good job. (Please dont say FITP's swabs, dont want to bad mouth them )

ok i have some eclipse fluid and some plastic things with something like cooton wool but not quite i got them from warehouse express ?

You could try a rocket blower, that may get rid of a lot. Otherwise maybe try to clean it again.

Are you sure you not taking a picture of a dirty peice of paper :D

well i been out tonight it was a bit cold and i was changing lens
the lens on is a the kit lens 18 -70mm
as for paper well ill turn it over and try

no its not the paper i have just turned it over and its the same

isit possible i put too much fluid on ?

no i only but fluid on the swab
i got it on rad now see if thats it hopefully
how much for a new sensor if i have nacked it ?:bang:

£100+

Sent it to Sony if you really worried. Leave it overnight and try tomorrow.

Theres a Sony a200 going for £150 ex stock in pc world. :)

how long have you routinely shot at f/36 in real life?

I wouldn't worry about it unless you start getting annoyed with the dust at "normal" apertures.

yes your right bill, not very oftern but the reason i clean it in the fist place was because i have been doing long exposures i have notics this more and more i was thinking about getting a better landscaping lens but i dony want to send £400 on a lens then find out that they show up more on that ,does this make sence or have i got it wrong

I'm afraid dust is a fact of life with DSLR's. I agree that if you're dong long exposures at small apertures then you would tend to notice dust more.

I'd advise learning how to clean the sensor yourself as it can get quite expensive having it done professionally, and it's easy enough if you take your time about it. Do check out this LINK. It gives lots of info on the various methods. Don't worry if you have to do it a few times at first. Don't expect perfection either.

cheers
Bill
