Ive been checking out how my blog is doing in Google and I notice that most of the linked articles have fallen off the front blog page and have therefore become lost. Google is obviously crawling my default front page for new articles so old Googled articles always link back to my Default.aspx. My blog supports links to specific articles so I would assume that I ought to be tagging each new article with a permanent link somehow.
Does anyone know what search engines like Google look for in a blog page to reference a particular article contained within it?
So somewhere in my default page which contains multiple articles I would need to reference the particular permanent reference such as:
1. http://www.andyreedphotography.co.uk/Default.aspx?Title=Cornwall_2010
2. http://www.andyreedphotography.co.uk/Default.aspx?Title=Hannah
3. http://www.andyreedphotography.co.uk/Default.aspx?Title=Red_Hot_Talent_2010_-_Heat_1
Any idea?
Andy.
