Took one of my 1d mkII bodies to fixation for a service a couple of weeks ago, and only realised when editing the photos from this weekends wedding that the muppet who did the servicing changed the date to 2010.

So all my second shooters pics are out of sequence - I checked the time was synched but not the year.

Took me an hour to sequence in Bridge!

Ohh that reminds me I need to sync the time for my two cameras... Does everyone who does this do it manually?

Why didn't you just fix the date/time stamps on the photos? That would take about 10 seconds, not an hour.

Quite. Recent trip to the states. 5 hours out due to timezone, 58 seconds difference from GPS recorded UTC

exiftool -s *.cr2 "-AllDates-=05:00:58"

~20 seconds later, 2500 photos, job done.
