Outline your goals, work out what's needed and make a few lists.
Play the long game, is there a specific piece of equipment you need for the project, does it need to be a particular place or time of year even? Don't worry if you can't start right away.
Don't dive straight in without first realising what outcome you require or you may find yourself going off track.
Try reverse engineering your project from final outcome to the very beginning and highlight key parts to aim for along the way.
Mental visualization is paramount if you are aiming for specifics and being able to see the finished project or yourself seeing through certain parts will help like nothing else.
