I'm off to the SVR on Saturday for the 1940's weekend and I'm trying to decided what to take want to travel as light as possible

I have

Nikon D750
Nikon D300
Nikkor 24-120 F4
Nikkor 50mm 1.8d
Nikkor 70-300 VR
Sigma 12-24

Fuji Xpro1
Fuji 18-55
Fuji 50-230
Fuji 18
Fuji 27

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

I'd take X-Pro1 and 18-55 lens, nice lens for wide panoramic scenes and for closeup work. If you need to get closer move your feet.

It's also a small discreet camera for candid shots.

You are looking primarily for portrait type shots at these events, and the chance to use the bigger lenses may be restricted by idiots getting in the way, so go for the smaller stuff.

As said above, most of the people in costume will be happy to pose for you. Wish I'd know this was on earlier.
