So I just use quicktime when I want to create wmv's from mov files on my mac but i need to provide some people who work for me a free shareware converter that does this successfully for windows.

I've googled this and there are tons but i havent had any success with any of them either being completely free or working properly so does anyone have a good program they can recommend?
 
Does it have to be wmv or would mp4 do?
 
no it needs to be wmv, i actually found one now, it's called winx free mov to wmv converter, worked well
