The missus has decided she wants a Canon (looking at 5D range - 5DS during an upcoming HK stopover looks most likely) but I'm determined to stick with Sony's A7 range. She wants a Canon because she believes the colours are warmer and she's unhappy with how cold she thinks Sony pictures look everywhere on the net (and our own).
This puts me in a bad spot. I was about to start buying Sony lenses (35mm f2.8 as the first one since the kits lens), but now I'm not so sure. I would prefer it if we could share lenses and I know the A7 is supposed to be good for that sort of thing. Adapters don't look inexpensive however but maybe the most cost effective in the long term.
I really want to keep autofocus on my A7 while sharing lenses with her future Canon. Am I hoping for too much?
