Western Australia by Amp34, on Flickr
This was shot in Sharks Bay, Western Australia. Sharks Bay is famous for the Stromatolites living in the warm, calm, hypersaline waters. These are some of the earliest forms of life and are formed by algal colonies binding together sand grains over millions of years to form the distinctive "towers". We got there at 10am so the light was very harsh so I decided to try something a little different.
