First test shots

Shot 25 and developed in FX55 1+1 for seven minutes Severely under developed, almost transparent negatives. cant believe they scanned.

I am very excited by this film, seeing the blue base I am hopeful that it is a blue sensitive film (old stylee)

Ooh, a bit dark as you say. A little more exposure needed too?

Camera has been pretty good exposure wise. so I will concentrate on development first, will go nine minutes next time.

I diluted the fx55 (for the first time) as I was under the impression that its a contrasty film. I think people may get that impression as its blocking reds and greens. if its blue sensitive AW sell the blue stuff at £15 a roll so you have found us a bargain there Dave. :) I have read that Paul Strand was a big fan as were others before panchromatic film took over.

Ortho helps with some types of scene. Skylight is blue, so effectively shadows are lifted, and greens better differentiated. Try using a green filter with panchromatic film. I carry two different green filters with me.

Pan film was more expensive than ortho when it first came out.
