Sheffield in the snow

This was the view from the park across the road yeasterday. I even got a random dog walker to pose for some foreground interest.

Any tips on better snow processing greatly appreciated.

First one looks a bit of a 'snap'of a mate against a background. Think the idea would have worked if you told him to turn round and look at the view... then we could share it with him and his dog.

Second one is OK but I'd clone out the people as they distract from the view.

The guy didn't have much control over the dalmation so getting the to look out over the scene would have been pretty difficult. You're probably right that it would have made for a better shot though.

I liked the people in the foreground making a snowman in the second. The problem is the snowman is impossible to make out I think.

It's from Bolehill Park looking over the Rivelin Valley.

now that you mention it, looks familiar! not a part i go a lot! usually in the valley on the mountain bike!
