Shield Bug - colourful little beasty

spotted this little chap this morning while out for a wander, for a short time there was a plain green one of these beasts on a leaf nearby but that one crawled off sharpish as i got closer

any idea what it is ( too lazy to do a google as too busy looking round this site for hints & tips on how to improve my piccy taking lol )

It's a shield bug. A blue and green one of them landed on my neck and bit me when I was a lad - little bigger!
