Great photo - I think these are stunning little creatures with some great colours around the edge of their bodies.

I actually had one photo bomb a wedding last week-end. I had just taken a photo of the bride when I noticed on reviewing something black on her dress. Had a look and found a shield bug.

Carefully removed it to somewhere safe
 
Have only ever seen the green shield bug in our garden. So seeing this was a bonus
