How strange ! I'm not the biggest fan of black & white outside of portraiture, and I dont particularly like square cropped photographs, so I'm at a total loss to explain why I too am strangely drawn to this image !
On that basis alone, I would have to say that it's very good mate !

I agree with Macker - I like it too, very much. I think what I like is the fact that the eye is drawn to the ROT's... hence working very well aesthetically.

When the viewer looks at this shot they are subconciously reminded of the chaos and order that life provides. The symmetry provides comfort in an uncertain world and soothes the stress of a future yet to be revealed.
Either that or it's a very nice plant....
