Short eared owl at last light

Taken last week end, as others have said they did not appear until the last minute of light was available. I was going to delete these but decided to try something a little different. The BG has had alot of noise reduction to give a different style. Not the best at all posted but I was just happy to see them again. Hopefully they will appear when the light is better next time.

C&C please on how they could be better. Personaly I am not sure on the crops but they are large crops already

Lovely set Stuart and well done on getting them in the first place Tbh I dont think you can do much more than you have already done considering the crops. The light is fairly uniform throughout the picture so it is pointless trying to isolate the bird and process it anymore as it will look a bit odd. Sorry I cannot be of more help, love #3 though

Smashing set Stuart the crops/compo looks pretty good to me, I always think a hunting bird like this looks best with plenty of habitat in the shot.

They are really good Stu the only thing I would maybe do is just make the portrait crops more portrait by taking some of the appropriate sides
