Considerably older than the chick we saw on North Uist. Love photographing these birds, as does Ian, as when I called him to let him know they were out, he appeared faster than the Shopkeeper in Mr Benn
The first was quite a crop, but I thought the angle of the face was just terrific. The others were close and are cropped, but not by much.
Taken with a Canon 50D 500mm F4 + 1.4TC, tripod mounted or rested on a convenient but uncomfortable rock.
