Yes
having picked up a Nikkormat FT2 a couple of months ago I finally got round to putting a roll of film through it and well pleased with the results

One thing I have noticed is that with a good old fashioned Centre Weighted meter the exposures were just about spot on something I dont find regularly with the all singing & dancing matrix metering of the 40D,maybe I need to recert to CW even on the digital or is the Nikon meter just better

i bet these would have been better as trannies...
i think the crux of these is in the neg scanning
i used a nikkormat Ft3 and two EL2's with aperture ring, mirror up and the FE2 electrics..using nikon prime lenses for transparency work and on projection in competitions gave out a loud shout for contrast and saturation..fuji pro film 100 asa..
my earliest nikon was a Ftn with aperture indexing and a standard prong 50mm/2.8 with glass which looked like as clear as a mountain spring....with a slight yellow coating
boring!!..:D

subject wise i like the trains
no 2 sans cars
no 3 sans white building...
perhaps some cropping would intesify the interest on the trains alone
cheers
geof
