WHE are selling Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod for £79 after cashback (+ £3.99 delivery) and I am tempted to buy it but unsure and need some advice. I do realise it is not the CF variety. :thinking:

i was going to get that ine but then saw in digital camera mag the giotyos mtl9271b got a better review although they said to stick a manfrotto head on it
 
You can get a redsnapper and ball head for a ton.
 
I've just bought the 055, which is basically a taller 190... it's a serious piece of kit. I got the 496RC2 head to mate it with :D
