Should I get a model release for a car?

Hey everybody!

This might seem like an odd question, but I might be taking some pics of the guy at work's car. Should I get him to sign something similar to a model release? I don't know what I'm going to use the pics for yet, but don't particularly want him sending them off to mags (although it would be cool if that got me work), specially if I don't get credit for them.

Have any of you ever done something similar? I mean with regards to the paperwork, not the shoot.

Put it this way. Is the car going to be upset when it sees itself in a magazine? I'm going to say no. ;) He can't do anything with your photos unless you allow him.

Well maybe model release was the wrong term. At least i've got my answer anyway.

You could say the same for a building.:)

I believe you need one for some buildings.:rules:
What makes a car different?

You could probably get a load more money if you could get a video of the car signing the 'release form'...... :naughty: ;)

there are no stupid questions, save for not asking
